10:00 am: Beacon House Tour/Registration & Light Breakfast (prepared by Chef Tom Wahlstrom of Elizabeth’s Chop House)
10:30 am: Ride Begins – 3 Routes: Something for Everyone!
Short Route: Begins at Beacon House, travels down Fair Avenue to Lakeshore Boulevard at Picnic Rocks, travels along bike path to Mattson Lower Harbor Park
Middle Route: Begins at Beacon House, travels down Fair Avenue to Lakeshore Boulevard, turns left toward the Island, stops for snack at the Gazebo and loops back to Mattson Lower Harbor Park
Long Route: Begins at Beacon House, travels down Fair Avenue to Lakeshore Boulevard, turns left toward the Island, stops for snack at the Gazebo and loops back, travels past the Mattson Lower Harbor Park to the Welcome Center, then loops back to the Mattson Lower Harbor Park
11:30 am: Healthy and Delicious Lunch at Mattson Lower Harbor Park
Chef Tom Wahlstrom will be grilling something fabulous for everyone to enjoy, and will be on hand to talk about making great choices for nutritious snacks and meals that don’t necessarily include Tofu!
The Marquette Alger County Medical Society is pleased to promote events focusing on reducing childhood obesity.

- sample some healthy treats at our snacks stops along the route
- enjoy a family-friendly bike ride along our beautiful lakeshore
