Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law and acknowledgements are sent for donations of $25 or more.
There are also several other ways to make a gift to Beacon House. The following ideas are offered as possibilities and are not intended to discourage donors from suggesting other options that may be of interest to them. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding making a gift to Beacon House.
A gift of cash may be sent directly to Beacon House, 1301 North Third Street, Marquette, MI 49855 . For your convenience, Beacon House offers electronic funds transfer and accepts Visa and Master Card donations via telephone or written instructions.
Collections of value such as art, jewelry, antiques or other tangible personal property may make a practical gift to Beacon House.
This option offers a relatively inexpensive way to make a substantial gift to Beacon House. You may choose to donate a policy you now own, assign policy dividends as a gift, or purchase a new policy to ensure a large future gift.
Gift of Stock
Gifts of stock may also be directed to Beacon House. We have an established account through Edward Jones to facilitate the transfer of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities. Please contact Pete Meyer at 906.228.4600 for more information regarding this option.
Many individuals or companies have real estate for which they have no further use. A gift of real estate will be sold and the Beacon House fund increased with the proceeds.
Commitments to Beacon House can be spread over several years and paid in annual or quarterly installments. Beacon House will send payment reminders upon request. A pledge can make it easier for you to give as generously as possible to Beacon House.
Contributions of labor, materials, or complete project coverage are another way that you can donate to Beacon House. This is a meaningful way to become involved and help Beacon House provide accommodations for patients and their loved ones.
