There are good people in every community, and Marquette is no exception. All year long people make donations to Beacon House that have never stayed, nor will ever stay here. But they believe in the importance of supporting their neighbors in time of need. Clark Lambros and Michele Butler were, and are those kind of people.
Clark died suddenly in December much to the shock of those who believed a man that strong and that full of life would surely live to be a 100. We were so honored that Clarks obituary named Beacon House as a way to honor his memory, and many donations have since arrived to do just that. Today, we read an article in the New York Times that shed a little light on his life and love. Click here to read the story

Beacon House operates on a donation basis and guests are expected to contribute at a level that is affordable for them.
